Fareed Lafta is an Iraqi pilot and athlete. He is a qualified cosmonaut with a certificate from YU.A.Gargarin cosmonaut training center. His fitness and skill levels enabled him to complete the training in just 2 months. He always wanted to be like Neil Armstrong and Yuri Gagarin.

Fareed has 9 Guinness World Records. He is an adventure junkie. He is a Skydiver, Scuba Diving Instructor, Commercial Pilot, Private Pilot. He took his certificate from the federal aviation administration conducted by US aviation academy Denton and longhorn helicopters.

One of his numerous achievements is jumping from 30,000 feet high, only about 1,500 feet or so above the peak of Mount Everest.
